Platelets Rich Plasma, (PRP) Vampire Lift or Scalp Rejuvenation

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy is a high demand procedure that mingles advance technology with the body’s natural capability to heal itself. In this procedure the very own patient blood is separated into its active serum and platelet parts by means of centrifuge and injected into the wrinkles, folds and  areas that need to be corrected.

The concentrated platelets in PRP contain large amounts of growth factors and signaling proteins that promote collagen fibrillogenesis and the repair and regeneration of tissue.

PRP Therapy is highly in demand because of its use in treating sports injuries in professional athletes. However, the benefits from these techniques reach more patients than just athletes. These same growth factors also have beneficial cosmetic applications, such as facial, skin and hair rejuvenation.

Mesotherapy

This therapeutic process, originally invented by Dr. Michel Pistor (France) in 1952, is fast becoming an alternative medicinal therapy that require rigorous procedures and is applied in the safest conditions, with the minimalist to no down town and as such, is now being practiced in many countries all over the world.

The Mesolift™ also know as mesotherapy or microneedling is a new treatment for people of all ages! It gives your skin a healthy boost and leaves you looking refreshed and rejuvenated!

Mesotherapy or Microneedling, is the creation of thousands of controlled microinjections into the mesoderm (middle layer of the skin) using various pharmaceuticals, medicines, vitamins, amino acids, hyaluronic acid or even PRP, your own plasma to treat the skin. It can be used on your face, body and scalp for hair loss.

Microneedling or mesotherapy injections provides a mechanical stimulation of the skin, which leads to higher concentrations of growth factors and enhanced collagen and elastin production with minimal downtime.

Microneedling revitalizes the skin’s appearance and quality without scar formation and a low risk of Post-inflammatory Hyperpigmentation. It has also been used to treat hair loss using either PRP and/or vitamins.

Our latest acquisition, the French made U225 Injector, is the most sophisticated mesotherapy injector currently available on the market! Using pneumatic (air) pressure, this electric mesogun produces almost no trauma to the skin and is virtually painless!

The U225 is the ideal injector for the face, especially around sensitive areas like the eyes, nose and lips, although it can be used all over the body.

Botox & Dysport

Dysport may be newer in North America (on the market since only April, 2009), but it has been battling Botox head to head in Europe and elsewhere for several years already.

Dysport and Botox have similar mechanisms of action (neuromuscular blocking toxin). Dysport has less of a protein load than Botox.

Clinically this means that Dysport will result in the formation of fewer antibodies against it. Antibodies are what our bodies use to detect and destroy foreign proteins aka antigens (the injected medications).

Hence the assumption is that with fewer antibodies being formed the clinical effects of Dysport should last longer than those of Botox. That being said, some clinical trials indicate that Botox has longer lasting results.
